Signature Event 2022: Time of our Lives

On Saturday, October 8, the Howard County Chamber hosted its 17th Annual Signature Event and Awards Gala at Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City. Nearly 300 attendees gathered to network, eat, dance, and honor the night’s awardees.

Each fall, the Chamber Signature Event is one of Howard County’s premier annual events, as hundreds of businesses, community, and political leaders attend this can’t-miss gala.

This year’s “Time of our Lives” 1980s Prom Signature Event piggybacked off of the success of last year’s theme, with even better results. Guests were met with complimentary corsages and boutonnieres (courtesy of sponsors Manekin and Allen + Shariff), our signature “Spiked Punch” drink complemented passed hor d’oeuvres, pasta bar and carving stations, The Reagan Years 1980s cover band kept the dance floor full, Prom King and Queen were crowned, and we even got to celebrate an engagement between our very own Membership Assistant, Liz Marinelli, and her longtime boyfriend!

Amidst the various entertainment options, the highlight of the night was the ACE Awards presentation. Each year, the ACE Awards allow the Chamber to highlight key businesses and individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to their field, have achieved extraordinary success, or have improved the Howard County business community in general.

We thank all of the night’s guests for spending the evening with us, and if you couldn’t make it, we hope to see you next year!
