As Director of Membership & External Affairs for the Howard County Chamber of Commerce, Lori has the privilege of supporting nearly 800 member businesses and sharing the value of Chamber membership with organizations throughout the region.

When she’s not connecting businesses and building relationships, you’ll find Lori coordinating and emceeing Ribbon Cuttings or representing the Chamber at community events.

Lori is a Southern Illinois girl at heart and a coal miner’s daughter who grew up surrounded by cornfields and big dreams. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, she unexpectedly found her true calling in marketing, spending more than 25 years as a Shopping Center Marketing Director in several states.

It turns out that whether you’re promoting a shopping center or a business community, success is all about creating connections—and that’s still her favorite part of the job.
