📈 A Year of Growth
In 2024, the Chamber welcomed over 130 new members, bringing our total membership to more than 700 local businesses and organizations. We expanded our programming, launched new initiatives, and deepened our commitment to small businesses throughout the region.
💼 Advocacy & Business Development
Our advocacy efforts saw major wins this year, including successful support for state & local legislation to strengthen the Howard County business community. We also hosted 60+ events, including our Howard County Business Outlook Lunch, Women’s Leadership Conference, Golf Classic, Signature Event, Emerging Technologies Conference, and Economic Forecast Breakfast – each designed to foster collaboration and connect members with decision-makers.
✂️ Celebrating Business Milestones
In 2024, we proudly hosted 15 ribbon cutting ceremonies, celebrating new business openings and major expansions across Howard County. These events represent the entrepreneurial energy and economic momentum driving our local economy.
🌟 Honoring Excellence
We were honored to present our ACE Awards (Awards for Chamber Excellence) to a select group of outstanding members who exemplify leadership, innovation, and community service. Their contributions have elevated the entire Chamber and inspired others to lead with purpose.
