I’m Julie Sherry, the Office Coordinator here at the Howard County Chamber. If you’ve ever reached out with a question about your membership, billing, or how to navigate the Member Portal, there’s a good chance we’ve connected. Since I’m often the first point of contact for members, I wanted to share an overview of the Member Portal to help you get the most out of the tools and resources available to you.
Your Chamber membership comes with a number of helpful features designed to save you time, increase your visibility, and keep you connected. All of these resources are available in one place: the Member Portal.
The Member Portal is your online hub for managing your membership, promoting your business, registering for events, and accessing Chamber tools. Whether you’re new to the Chamber or simply want to take advantage of everything available to you, here is an overview of what you can do inside the Member Portal.

Managing Payments
The Member Portal makes handling payments simple and secure. You can store ACH or bank account information for event registrations and recurring payments, save credit card information for quick checkout, pay invoices online, set up autopay for dues or recurring fees, and switch from annual to monthly billing whenever you’d like.
Events and Engagement
The portal keeps you connected to Chamber programs and activities. You can register for events directly through the portal, submit your own events for Chamber approval and promotion, and manage all of your event participation in one central place.
Promoting Your Business
The Member Portal offers several ways to increase your visibility. You can submit Hot Deals and Member-to-Member Deals, post job openings, and submit news releases to share updates from your organization. Submissions are easy to manage and may require staff approval before posting.
Groups, Referrals, and Visibility
Your membership activity is easy to track. You can join or leave groups and mailing lists, update your email preferences, view referrals sent to your business by the Chamber, and check your visibility statistics to see how often your business is being viewed.
Keeping Your Information Up to Date
Accurate information ensures members and customers can find you. Within the portal, you can update your company profile—including logos, descriptions, contact information, photos, and videos (the last two are only for those with enhanced listings!)—update your personal profile, and add or deactivate staff members as needed.
