When a business owner or consumer looks for a local merchant, they often turn to the Chamber’s website, knowing they will find the best of the best. All members are listed in the searchable directory, and only members may purchase a banner or sidebar ad on the site. Members may also add their logo to the directory results to make their listing stand out to potential customers.

Advertise on the Web or in the Chamber’s E-Weekly Newsletter

The Chamber’s e-Weekly is sent to more than 3,000 people each week. A limited number of ads are available in each Chamber newsletter and will link to your website or advertisement. The Chamber’s website, where banner ads are available, also draws thousands of eyes each week. Members may purchase a full membership contact list as a spreadsheet or on printed labels in order to send direct promotions to other Chamber members. Note: to protect the privacy of our members, email addresses are not included in this data.

Become an Annual Partner of the Chamber

The Howard County Chamber offer businesses opportunities to support the organization for the whole year or to provide financial help for specific events.

In addition to being recognized on the Chamber website, in printed materials and on event signage, business ownership initiatives include event tickets and additional benefits.

Promote Your Business at Chamber Events

Businesses may increase their exposure to the community by purchasing space for a table top display during Chamber member luncheons and special events. These mini-trade shows are a great way for member businesses to showcase their goods and services. Contact our events department for pricing and details about Chamber event table top displays.

Host a Ribbon Cutting

Sponsored by our 2021 Ribbon Cutting Partner, State Farm Insurance – Alex Brown, the Chamber’s ribbon-cutting package includes big scissors, a large ribbon, publicity in Chamber materials, and attendance by Chamber leaders. Our ribbon cutting packages help members have a successful event when unveiling a new location, re-design, or other venture.

Be Considered for Recognition and Awards

The Chamber’s Business Recognition Committee meets regularly to identify businesses and individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to their field, achieved extraordinary success, or improved the business community in general in order to match them to award opportunities.
