Passes Downtown
Columbia Legislation
The Howard
County Council
unanimously passed
Council Bill 58 and
Bills 59 at its
legislative session
on Monday, February
1, the culmination
of six years of
community dialogue
and careful
deliberation to
create a
comprehensive master
plan to guide the
revitalization and
redevelopment of
Downtown Columbia.

Council will vote on
February 1, 2010 to
determine the future
of downtown
Columbia.
Several
amendments were
introduced and 5 of
these were voted
substantive by the
Council at their
meeting on January
4, 2010.
They were

Chamber members
during a luncheon at
Turf Valley.
