Howard County Chamber
Announces
“Executive Peer Group”
Program
Designed for Small
Business
With 15 or less
employees or
under $1M in Annual
Revenues
Prerequisite: Howard County Chamber
member in good standing
Designed exclusively
for business owners who
are members of the
Howard County Chamber
of Commerce, this
program provides owners,
principals, or partners
with the tools, skills,
and
perspectives to reach
their personal and
professional goals.
Participants will be
introduced to new
thinking and best
practices other business
owners are currently
engaging. As a result,
they will gain
a deeper understanding
of their unique role in
shaping company
direction, in improving
business performance and
developing overall
general business acumen,
strategy and leadership
skills through
board participation with
their peers and an
Alternative Board
certified facilitator.
All members will
be held accountable to
achieve monthly goals by
their peers through the
monthly meetings.
The program is
created to extend The
Alternative Board
insights and board
process to selected
chamber members.
It provides a common
foundation for learning
and sharing, using a
structured, proven
approach to facilitate a
board meeting where
peers are each other’s
board of advisors.
